伝統「牧小魂」開拓の再現


　力強さとなめらかさ

「協力平」のいわれ

　太平洋戦争が始まり、牧之原に大井航空隊を作ることになりました。

　飛行場の滑走路（かっそうろ）)にする場所に牧之原小学校は建っていました。このままでは学校がなくなってしまいます。当時の校長先生が「学校を残しておきたい」と。牧之原に住む人々は、協力し合い、山地を切り開き、平らな土地にし、今の牧之原小学校の場所に学校を移転したのでした。

　牧之原に住む人々は、みんなの協力で平らな土地になった「日本一楽しい自分たちの学校、牧之原小学校」を「協力平」と呼ぶのです。

How this school is called  “Cooperation Field“

When the Pacific War was started, Oi Air Corps and its airport were going to be built in Makinohara.  Makinohara Elementary School was Located where the runway was going to be.  The school was on the verge of being vanished

The principal back then said, “We want to keep this school in Makinohara,”

People who lived in Makinohara came together and worked hard carving out the hills to make a flat field for the school.  Then, the school moved to where it is located now.

People in Makinohara call “Japan’s most fun School, Makinohara Elementary School”, the Cooperation Field.
